Arizona law limits the amount of time an injured person has to bring a claim for a dog bite. To bring a case based on the "dog bite" or "dog at large," the lawsuit must be filed within one year of the incident. Although claims based on negligence of the dog owner can be brought up until two years after the incident, the best approach is to act quickly to hold dog owners accountable for injuries caused by their dangerous dogs.
